SP Racing Gialla Replica - Fitment *PICS*!

So i ordered the SP Racing Grill (Gialla Replica)
its 180$ (compared to 300+ for authentic gialla) for a NON-PAINTED one.
they are available PRE-PAINTED for an extra 70 bones (totaly 250) and shipping is free.

i went with a pre-painted (DG).

and i guess you can call this my "Silvia Parts Review!" lol:
shipping took about 2 weeks (big package, from hongkong) which was fine.
color match was perfect
fitment is really good (not 110%, but really good imo)
and price was excellent
they use paypal for payment and they promptly email you once payment is recieved, and promptly email again once product is shipped (takes a few days b4 its shipped if you order pre-painted)
no complaints at all.
10/10 for silvia parts

anyone that was considering buying but not 100% sure, i definately reccomend it! u wont regret it.

oh, and i took out the support brace in the middle, had no negative side effects and looks much better imo

fitment pics: (taken with CELLY)

Not a perfect fit (little gap on top and bottom), but it looks OK.

amazing cell phone picture quality..!

g3fizzive is right, there is a gap between the grille/hood and grille/bumper. i have a feeling that it might have something to do with that support bar that was taken out. that support bar was probably there to stretch out the grille to fill. i probably would have gone the ionic grille route if i wanted a gialla style grille.

glad youre happy with your purchase though..

I also opted for the SP grille back in april and have had nothing but good things to say about the grille and SP. I recieved the grille in about 4 days after I placed my order. Once the grille was painted by my body shop I waited 1 day to install it so the paint can cure.

When installing the grille I took my time to measure out the mounting holes and carefully drilled the grille. The time I spent making sure the sides were even was very well worth it. Take a look at the 2 pics I attached. I think the fitment was almost perfect considering it's a replica.

i installed it first with the bar and the gap was the same, i dont think its bad at all, and by the way the grill is installed (clips at the top) the bar couldnt of done anything to close that gap because the top is CLIPPED there and cant be pushed up....

so, not to be an ***, but your bar stretching it theory is incorrect

i guess we just have different standards, which is completely fine. i have a gap between my grille and hood but that is because of the design of the grille.

the support bar may not have been able to close the gap on the top but it could possibly have taken care of the gap on the bottom. try some 3m tape.

but like i said, i'm glad youre happy with your purchase..

may be a newb/idiot question but what is this 3M tape, im guessing its obviously a double sided tape that your suggesting i use to hold the bottom of the grill in place, but is it like a SPECIAL kind of double sided tape? whats the "3m" is that like a size/strength rating or somethin
