I'm looking to get a remote start for my 6mt. Can you get remote start for a manual transmission?

 

Yes there are several of them out there, just do a search on this forum to find others who have installed them. Mine is a Compustar two way paging system and has a range of over 1 mile. The only drawback to an alarm for a manual transmission car is that you have to leave the car in neutral and use the handbrake. This isn't very reliable if you happen to park on a hill apparently. I haven't had any problems yet.

another thing added, i have remote start on my 2000 accord sedan. since it came with no security/remote, i got everything on one remote. my g35 is due in feb/mar and if i wanted a remote start for that, would it require another separate remote for just the engine?

 

cliffords system will work with a manual...also has nice features like paging that will call your cell or pager if your alarm goes off. also has radar(motion detector) and shock sensors
