I have an 03 and had it fixed more than 4 times, and the clicking comes back within a week.

Does anyone have a link to instructions on pulling the rear axle's out? I am thinking about doing this myself tonight before I take the car in for service tomorrow. I have 47k miles on my 03.

I have some issues with the rear suspension now. passenger side tire is wore completely to threads on the inside. Maybe its alignment, but Im not sure. I just dont want to get raped, and I figure if I do it myself maybe it will be done right.

i'm kind of worried. what exactly is this clicking noise? is it loud or subtle? is this on the manual or auto?

My '04 Coupe had this issue and I was one of the first ones apparently because they replaced the manual trans in my car as well as did some reworking (grease I assume) to the rear axles. I haven't had the problem since.

there is either a loud click or tick from one or both sides of the rear when you accelerate from a stop. you can't miss it. roll down your windows and start acclerating from a stop then there will be a loud click.

DAM Does Infiniti FIX anything. You would think that by 2006 this would NOT be an issue. I guess 4 years is not enough time. At least they have a new GEN out. LOL.

drive next to a wall or in a parking garage with your windows down and radio off... when you accelerate from a stop its pretty obvious... on my car it was only on the passenger side but it can be on both sides.

and yah... wtf... i was kinda upset that on my 06 it had that problem... i used to think its best to always wait until at least the 2nd year of a car so they can fix the probs... at least the dealer was able to fix it so im over it... it's such a great car and that fact far outweights the few annoyances i have with it.

I have an 06 and my rear axle bolt had to be re-torqued because it got loose. Or it was loose out of the factory. It basically caused a "popping" noise every time i hit a bump or drive on uneven pavement or up and down a driveway.

If you've gotten the TSB done on your Rear Axle and the problem which is not a Clicking sound but more like a Clunk sound at slow speed going over bumps; then have you End Link Bushings on your Sway Bar replaced. Don't just get it tightened which the dealer always will do, get it replaced. Worn bushings don't get tightened; they get replaced. That should atleast fix most/all/some of you guys reporting this sound from the Rear Axle.
