Engine life?

I was wondering what kind of mileage people have been getting out of these motors with regular upkeep before having any sort of major problems. I am at70k and I always worry so I just want to know if I have anything to worry about...

he's not saying that the motors crapped out at 100k, Mr. Reading Comprehension. That's how many miles some of the sedans have so far.

OP, If you want to know about VQ35 problems, ask some of the other nissan forums. They use this engine in almost every car in the Nissan lineup.

I've seen nissan motors get way past 250k. Just take care of it and you'll have nothing to worry about.

People always say that the nissans lasts like 250k miles but this is a high performance engine isnt it? I mean 300hp out of a V6 is a lot.... I am glad to see those numbers though... I have an extended warranty to 100k miles though through universal underwriters which I hear is a very good warranty company.

My car's only got 31k miles and no complaint here. I'll probably get to 50k by the end of this year. Still running strong.
