UR or Stillen Flywheel/Clutch Combo?
UR or Stillen Flywheel/Clutch Combo?
I have been looking at buying a clutch/flywheel package for a while now and was pretty much sold on the UR 13lb flywheel clutch combo around $1,350. However today I spoke to guy at Stillen who gave me a price of $940 for their 14.2lb flywheel and ACT clutch combo. Also he told me that he could sell me the clutch/flywheel package and their ceramic coated headers for $1,450.
Anyways I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the Stillen flywheel? The Stillen flywheel is 1lb heavier so I don’t think that is really going to make much difference but I’m no expert. Just wanted any thoughts before I make a final decision.
As far as the headers go I’m still on the fence, I already have Stillen exhaust, CAI, Crawford plenum, and UR pulleys. I’ve read where some people get decent gains from the headers, whereas others say they did not receive much gain so it makes it really tough to make a good decision. Also I have a friend who is a mechanic who can install the headers for around $200-300.
