I put down a deposit in mid October to order a 6mt coupe at my local Infiniti dealer. I was told that cars are ordered the first week of each month. I was away on business in Japan for a few weeks and when I returned got an e-mail from the salesman I had been dealing with asking if I was still interested in a coupe and that he hadn't heard from me for a while and wanted to know if I had already bought a car elsewhere. When I called the salesman back and asked what was going on, he was like "oh yeah, uh, the car was ordered sure", but wasn't able to give me an order number. I got a "Y" order number today via e-mail. Does this mean the car was actually ordered in December? Initially the guy was saying I would get the car in January, now he is giving me some BS that It could take a couple of more months and is trying to talk me into taking one of the coupes on the lot. WTF?!
