did anyone ever install those called " performance chip"?

not really worth it unless ur car is turbo ( which its not ) cause those works best on turbo charged cars such as wrx, evo, sti etc.

Well, not necesarily true.

[Utec] does work best with turboed cars, but its a must when you have a ton of bolt-ons; you can't risk running too lean. Or you can get a ECU reflash.

The thing about a tune/chip is that it raises your whole powerband, not just the top end.

From what I hear, it'll make your car feel completely revived. Power from the second you touch the pedal to the second you lay off it

where can i get those performance chips?

they are talking about Piggyback ECU or EMS which you need a shop to tune. *** cars don't have Chip like European that can just be plug-in. A cheaper option will be ECU reflash but you still need to send your ECU or go to a shop that can reprogram it. Unless you have tons of bolt-on then the Power to $$ ratio is not good.

Go search for Utec, Unichip, Emanage, SS EMS.

i hope ur talkin about those great chips u get on ebay u get about 20 hp for eachone so grab a couple 4 or so and youll be 80hp bettter then add some stickers to add a couple more hp haha

ya, i ended up using 6 of those ebay chips at the same time, so now i have 400 hp! its great!!
