Ok, I bought my car in September. Came with 2 owners manuals in the trunk. One says 04 Coupe the other says 04 Sport Coupe. I have an 04 6MT with Brembos. What does the Sport Coupe have that the Coupe doesn't. Just need to know which goes with the car. I swear this exact question was asked a few months ago but i searched and cant find it.

 

You have the Sport Coupe. It's referring to the suspension.

But from what i read in another thread, pre 05's all have the same suspension. Are they wrong? Also how do you know? Because if the brembos? I just want to be sure.

 

The sport tuned suspension was an upgrade with the brembo/performance package. It was included with it. If I recall correctly, after '04 Infiniti discontinued the Brembo package in order to create a larger margin while keeping the cost of the performance package the same.

 

I have an 03 5AT and it says sport coupe.

 

i have 04 5AT, and the manual say it's sport coupe
i'm confused, is it my suspension it a bit lower than non sport coupe?
i don't have any brembo, but i get oem 18" performance package[may be].

 

sport is the 6mt with the brembos and standard 18's, you have a sport

 

All '04 Coupes have the same suspension. The Performance Package included the 18" wheels and limited slip differential. The 6MT Package came standard with the Performance Package plus the Brembos.

i have the 04 Automatic on 18's and the manual reads Sports Coupe.

 

yeah, I thought when our car first came out it was called the G35 sports coupe. I is confused.

for 04 there is no different coupe, sport coupe models. It's all the same either you got the 5at or 6m that's it. There was a performance wheel/tire option that added LSD for the 5at, which was standard in 6m. If you have the titanium interior dash then you have this option. If it's black then you don't have LSD.

 

I have a IP 5AT with 18 inch wheel option, so i have the LSD? I also have titanium trim...

 

Then explain 2 manuals I have.
1) 04 G35 Coupe
2) 04 G35 Sport Coupe
Do you mean there's no difference between coupe and sport coupe?
