I got this letter from Infiniti. Has anyone got this?

Yeah, got it a while back.

There are a few other threads on this topic. It is sweet that they are going to cover it now... i am going to beat the **** outta my brakes now that i know that!!

link does not work. I was also told about this letter, but "heard" that it does not apply to the Brembos...only the stock pads/rotors. True??

 

I heard about this, but never got the letter. Am I the only one who didn't get the letter yet, or should I call them?

G35 Coupe. Diamond Graphite, Graphite, Premium and wheel and Tire package. Zaino Baby.

 

If I remember my letter correctly, it said it only applies to the 5AT's up to 36K miles.

zorro... some people have had their brakes worked on and didn't receive the letter. instead, their service managers told them about the new warranty. you can call them so that you have the letter on file, just in case. the number on the letter gives (800) 947-9115 for infiniti consumer affairs.

04G_CAR... i've got the letter right here. it says, "For 2003 or 2004 infiniti G35 sedans or <font color=blue>automatic transmissions equipped G35 coupes</font color=blue>..."

Just to be clear it applies to 5AT and 6MT Sedans, and to 5AT Coupes.

i didnt get a call nor a letter...

 

xkoraznboix... if you're worried about not getting the letter yet, then you can contact infiniti consumer affairs (see number above). they'll verify your address and VIN. i'm not sure if people were telephoned or not about this. i just read that people were told in person by their service department.

i got another letter that says that infiniti will replace my brake lamp switch.. not the brakes and rotors.. lol wut the hell!

 

lol lil_leftyy... that brake lamp switch letter was from sooo long ago. in fact, i never got one -- my service guy worked on it when i got an oil change and told me about the lamp switch when it was all done. infiniti must be lagging with sending out their mail. hopefully, your brake warranty letter won't take as long.
