Pricing for g35

Hey everyone, I'm new to the forum. Just wanted to know what you guys spent to get your G35's. I love the way the car looks and it has decent performance to boot. I wanted to get it with the spoiler (aero package) and the sunroof. I'm in Jersey so i'll probably be lookin at Ray Catena on Route 1. Thanks everyone!

Re: Pricing for g35

with studymobile's help, I got from summit, nj (douglas infiniti) for approx 32,400 before tax with only sunroof.

Expecting to be able to drive my baby within 10 days or so from today.

Nowadays, especially with the recent snowstorm and the fact that it's winter... you may be able to get $500 less than that.. or exactly that same price if you add in the aero kit/spoiler thing.

Twlight blue/Willow 6mt on order. Options: Sunroof.

Everything but Nav, $34,600 at Holman in Maple Shade, NJ, that was last July.

Good luck, and make sure you test drive it before you buy it, I have seen some people on this forum that have had trivial problems, rattles, squeaks, grease streaks, etc.. that could've been taken care of before delivery.

Best of luck, this is a great car.

Re: Pricing for g35

i live about 15 minutes from catena. they are nice, courteous, but wouldn't budge on price for a 6mtC. i was there twice, told them ready to order, but they wouldn't budge.

called douglas infiniti in summit (off rt 24/78), when i ordered, they were nice, courteous, but gave me 1000 off msrp.

then prices went up 250 and they didn't pass it along. so it was then 1250 off msrp.

upon delivery i bought splash guard and all weather floor mats. they charged me 249, but threw in wheel locks, cargo net, oil change or two. they also arranged my financing, 3.9% through chase. they were about 20 minutes from catena

ask for gil coronado, 908-522-7300

04 6mtC, DG - possibly most babied G on the board.

Re: Pricing for g35

Thanks for all the posts! They are extremely helpful. I was hoping to spend 32 - 33 on the g if I get it (with the spoiler and sunroof). I'll probably be getting whatever I get around april. I'll definitely check out summit! This is how my choices are narrowed down in my mind right now.

G35:
Pros: It's an Infiniti, exterior looks hot, great interior, decent performance, good resale value, daily driver practicality, Twin Turbo kit possibly soon, 6 speed!!
Cons: A wee bit expensive (well more than some of my other choices), slower than some of the other choices, 6k + for the tt kit, insurance costs???, RWD during the winter (possibly solved with winter tires)
Evo 8:
Pros: Fast as all hell, I like the exterior styling, AWD, cheaper (28 as opposed to 33), easy to mod (not sure if i want to mod yet or not), more of a "kid car" (I'm 21 and probably am going back to college), insurance is probably cheaper (sedan versus a coupe), great handling (I test drove it)
Cons: Cheap interior, questionable build (clutch is terrible), resale value is gonna be horrible, daily driver praciticality is questionable, better chance of being stolen, 5 speed
STI
Pros: Subaru is a better company than Mitsu, great performance, good looking interior, 6 speed, AWD, more of a daily driver than the evo
Cons: No radio?!, no sunroof option, I don't like the exterior looks at all compared to the G and Evo, costs almost as much as G

Those are pretty much my 3 main options for a new car. I would go with a 350z hands down, but I really need more than 2 seats. I was also looking at a 2001 used M3, but it is 36k and it is used with 38k miles on it. Well that is pretty much it. I loved the Evo since way back in the day, but I don't want to spend that much money on a car that isn't reliable. Any suggestions or info or anything would be helpful in my decision. Thanks again!

Well, I paid 36,414 for a fully loaded G35 6MT (navi, aero, prem, etc) As for insurance, you will pay more for the Evo8 and the STI b/c of the stock turbo. The insurance company classifies those cars as a high performance cars. Check with your insurance first.

Re: Pricing for g35

Insurance on the G35 will be alot cheaper. Probably cheap enough to offset the higher purchase cost. And G35 = NO TURBO lag, something both the other cars have horribly. Keep in mind too, that the G35 is more hard loaded, and an EVO with some of the same equipment approaches $31,000...and is still missing some of the luxury equipment of the G35...

36,414 for navi, aero and prem? How did you do that? Going strictly by MSRP this is going to cost you $37,545 and thats before tax and registration which I would guess would push it up to around 40 grand out the door. I want that same configuration but with the splashguards which are an additional 200 bucks.

Here is a link to it on building the G..........

Re: Pricing for g35

I kept going back and forth between 2 dealers until I got the price I wanted. Once the dealers see that you have the money and are not wasting their time, they are more willing to deal. I even got 3 free oil changes. My out the door price with taxes, fees etc was 39,598.24 @ 3.5% My salesman told me that they have NEVER seen anyone get a coupe that cheap at their dealership. But, they commended me on being an educated costumer. (Thanks to the guys at G35DRIVER) By the way I got my coupe from Infiniti of Massapequa in L.I.-NY. My salesman was Bart Marconi, very nice guy.
