G Totaled

My G just got totaled this past Wednesday cuz some crazy woman decides to run a redlight in a Jeep, so I hit her in the side, in which caused my G to be destroyed......I'm suppose to get the check for my car soon, but I was wondering how much they usually give back??? retail value?? or trade in value???
'03 G35 coupe 6 speed , best car i've owned yet.....

they give you the current market value, basically how much it would cost you to buy another one with the same options and conditions. You will have to pay off the rest of your loan if you are financing. I doubt you are leasing or else the insurnace wouldnt be cutting you a check. Anyways, I hope you come out on top, beacuse I know with all the heart and sweat that goes into my G, current market value would not cut it for me. I hope you brought it to their attention when you made a claim so that the appraiser was aware of all the mods you had and properly reimburse you for that.

Do you have any pics of your G?

Sorry to hear about your loss, but a car can be fixed/replaced a life can't so im glad you are ok..anyways my friends neon 05 had mods new engine the works car got totaled but he kept the receipts for everything and nationwide paid for his mods as well.. so ask if you can do that as well.

I tried it when i got into my accident they didn't pay for the mods so im not sure if this works but its worth a try.

I recently totaled my 350Z (R.I.P) , and I came out with the value of the car being paid to the lein holder (the Bank) and $1100 paid to me for the difference. Yes, they actually appraised the car for more than I owed. I had wheels which the $1100 dollars covered and a custom stereo, which I removed at the tow yard (under supervision). I am now the happy owner of a G coupe. If you can wait for the 08 G coupe then do it. I couldn't do it

that's not that lucky, everyone put a different down payment and are in different stages of the loan. Not everyone's upside down.

That sucks

If you had any aftermarket stuff on the car make sure they cover that too. As long as it was her fault they need to replace it all.
