That looks bad. Did you check all of the gaskets?

Is it supposed to be that much oil? I heard oil build up is minimal if any?

did you install it yourself? did you ask Tony about this? My suggestion would be to reinstall and see what happens.

When you installed it, did you clean up the pre-existing oil? How much was there when you cleaned it?

Exclamation

dude.
You are missing a gasket. There is NO gasket between the top of the spacer and the upper plenum cover.

Look at my setup.

Wait...I'm pretty sure my 5/16 spacer only has one gasket too. I have no oil leaks at all.

Gotta grab something from my car, I'll take a look

I have installed a few of these.

Did you torque down the bolts fully only once?

You need to torque them a little lighter than recommended to start then go back and retorque to the full amount to properly seat the spacer as it will compact slightly. Go back and check the torque on the bolts.

it comes with only one new gasket to go between the spacer and the upper plenum....the one you are missing.....you use the lower gasket that is already in place.

i just took the upper plenium off and there WAS a gasket on top, i probably forgot since it was so long ago. But then i called motordyne and he said its a silicone based adhesive that is used to bond spacer to gasket and gasket to upper plenium. He said it melts off from gasket. That makes sense because if it was oil it would be a liquid substance, but that yellowish thing is like rubber/sillicone like the rubber thing thats stuck to papers sometime. so its all good. Thx for the help .
