Re: Raced Supra tonight!
As I'm sure most of you know, Supras are fast to begin with but also mod-friendly. My first $2500 in mods brought me to 401 rwhp and 405 ft lbs of torque. And it's not uncommon to see Supras with 600+ horsepower. You just never know what you are going to get.
On your G35s ... very nice cars! My wife and I just bought a FX35 for her, and I had the opportunity to drive a 6MT coupe. I am very close to trading in my daily driver (a Nissan Pathfinder) for a coupe.

Re: Raced Supra tonight!
I guess the Nissan engine that can compete with the Supra's would be the RB26DETT in GT-Rs. In video games GT-Rs can be modded up to 900+ HP. I think I've read about GT-Rs with that much power in real life too.

Re: Raced Supra tonight!
Hehe all this talk makes me miss my 97 TT Supra so bad.
I really never should've sold it. I regret it everytime I see one. Still my favorite car I've ever owned. I may get another one someday. Cuz like you said they are very mod friendly. Mine put down over 700 rwhp with my custom T-51R. And that was on the conservative side. 2JZ-GTE is the most incredible motor I've ever seen. If I can't get my hands on an R-34 in the near future I might be buying another Supra for track time.

Re: Raced Supra tonight!
mm 2jz is a damn beast. damn bulletproof.. that engine adn teh SRs and RBs are damn good. SR20DET can put down 500hp on stock internals! 4banger 2-liter putting down all that on stock internals.. sick.. but the 2jz.. wow.. yea supras are damn fast..with one small mod of boost control u can put a lot more down....yea i would never mess with a supra.

You don't happen to live in LA do you Rspec? I randomly met a guy who has a beast of a Supra. He did a lot of work to it, including replacing the internals. He said he was putting down 940 RWHP max but usually runs less boost for regular street driving. Oh, did I mention his Supra was black too.
