noticed some oil drops in my garage after havin my car in there...took it to infiniti and they found a leak...i supposed it would be covered under warranty becasue i dont think i did anything for it to leak...i go to pay the bill..to fix it it cost me 80 bucs..it says ..
"oil lower pan leaking....replaced lower pan seal...labor 62...."
"parts...gasket silicone liqu...20 bucs.."

shouldnt this be covered udner warranty?..or i am missing something..

doubt you will get any money. I think seals and that kind of stuff are wear parts that arent covered by warranty. I'd say this is why you got charged.

I'll add that the cost you were charged for those seals and labor is pretty excessive it seems. Those parts couldnt have been more than a few bucks a piece, probably available at autozone. (20 bucks for silicone sealant.. hahaha)

That's B.S............

You shouldn't have had to pay anything! Gaskets don't wear out in that
short a time..........maybe after 10 years! You may not get your $ back
but I'd raise some hell over getting "taken!" Welcome to Infiniti Stealerships!

go get your money back......why did you pay in the first place? Dont they usually consult with you on non-warranty item before they work on it?

It's a no brainer. They took you for a ride. Go get your money back or see the service manager. Your drivetrain is covered for 6yr/70,000miles. Gaskets and seals should be included.
