By the look of it, I don't think its going to be totalled. Looks like a lot of damage, but not $24k unless you have a dumbass insurance inspector and a very good auto body guy!

damn man thats come crazy *** shyt. glad youre ok. i was out at a lexus dealership and talked to a guy named tony who owns a 350z and he had the same experienced he spun an hit the wall. he was ok too. u people r gettin lucky. i also wanna knwo how fast u were goin before u spun.

 

in regards to the people who asked how fast i was going, i was goin about 50-55..

jus wanted to update you guys in case you were curious:

damages came out to be $28K.. state farm is making it a total loss and is paying me only $500 below what i got the car for (including tax and all other fees)..

the body shop was definitely disappointed that it wasn't going to get the job of fixing up my car.. anyhow, i got my new coupe chosen already.. it's sitting at my local dealer hehe

Wow, glad to read that you made it through safe and your experience with the insurance company has been positive. I'm poking around trying to research info since I crashed my Gc a couple weeks ago. My damage doesn't look as bad as yours but maybe the fact that I jumped mine will mean more to repair so it'll be declared a total as well.
