no i have a stock Y-pipe, and muffler from my G35. I'm planning to buy a mid-pipe from a 350z, but i dunno if they fit.

overall, the 350z exhaust is ~8" shorter than the g35 exhaust. where those 8" come from, i'm not sure. it could be from their midpipe, ypipe, muffler, or a combo of all of the above - but my guess is it's from the ypipe or midpipe.

maybe someone who has their midpipe laying around can go measure the length of it and you can ask the seller to do the same.

No they are not the same. The 350Z midpipe is shorter by approximately 6". You can have an extension welded in if you want it to fit.

You need the extension from here http://mynismo.com/products/?id=4404

It sits between Y pipe and the mid-pipe. With the extension any 350z single pipe exhaust will fit the G
