First Time driving in the rain today... About 3'' away from crashing :O

Well today when I was pulling out of my drive way, I turned off the vdc(just a habit)... and pulled out of the drive way. The ground was just a little wet. It was a vey light drizzle. So I go to make a right as I'm coming out. I seen traffic coming but still a bit away. So I punch it, and the @ss kicks out and whips around. I let off and I'm facing the signal light but the @ss is still out to the left. I got to get on it just a little bit and the end kicks out again and then the car start sliding and point to the side walk. the curb is about 8 inch tall so I would have fuked up my front end. luckily I steered it out to safety. I was about 3-6 inches away from the curb. haha thats why I don't drive in the rain. and next time i'll leave vdc on, when the ground is wet.

Don't drive in the *rain*? Next people won't be driving coz it's humid...A car is not that uncontrollable. No offense, but you probably just need to learn how to accelerate appropriately given whatever conditions.

Actually, when it's a light drizzle outside, you have higher chances of losing control. Didn't you learned that from driving school?

Especially when it hasn't rained in a while, causing the oil on the surface to get uplifted.

Is this your first time EVER driving in the rain or the first time with the G'?

wow i'm only 24 and have to say this person must be young and dumb, but you have to be that to get old and wise.....

I thought we all or most of us where smart enough to know how to drive a car in all different conditions.
