I had on OB 03 before and currently have an 05 dg. I'd take the DG over the oB anyday because although diamond graphite looks dull when dirty..OB always gets dirtier faster..how about the dust..fingerprints and all that good stuff. Nothing beats my dg all zaino'ed up and clean.
As for other colors..I do like the liquid platium and athens blue color. I really love the twilight blue but won't go down the dark color route again. I live in NYC with extremely variable weather that does a job on your cars paint. I'll save myself some heatache.

I don't know if I would call DG a "boring" color, but its is more of a "stealth" color than say laser red (aka "ticket me red", "howdy officer red", etc.). The G attracts enough speed enforcement attention as is, so I don't mind that DG is a less "aggressive" color.
IMO DG really pops in the sunlight when the car is clean and waxed.
