Hey sportscoupe ....would u be able to get a shot with ur white/white LEDs at night?? i was just looking at this and posted on tech/mod forum asking for pics...

afr0puff - I have a question for you. I saw you mentioned something about having the white LED "blacked out." I've seen several other people mention this, and have been wondering about it. Does this just mean you cover up one of the LEDs with some sort of tape or marker or something?

You don't want to completely black out the white LED. You just want to make it dull. Bright enough to wash out the strong blue, but dim enough to prevent a color change. You don't have a lot of room to work with, so I taped up the blue LED and went to work with a black sharpie so only the white LED would get coated. Two coats seemed just about right for me.
