Might Buy a G35 Coupe this weekend...

I'm looking to buy an used 06 G35 coupe this weekend for around $30k.

I'm planning to go to the dealership to checkout everything tomorrow to see if I even fit in the car (I'm 6ft tall) and if I like the car.

I currently drive an Acura TSX and I like the black G35 coupe.. simply because it's beautiful (from pictures anyways). It's a little pricey, but I think it's a good step up. I don't like the way the new G37 looks either.

But anything from current owners? Why they like or they don't like their coupe? Blind spots? Cramped? Too noisy? Trunk Space? Anything that bugs you.. It's just a big investment.. so want to be sure this will be the car I can drive for the next 2-5 years.

Hey man, I am currently driving a TSX as well and I'm about to purchase a 2005 G35 Coupe this Saturday. I CAN NOT WAIT! I couldn't sleep last night because I am so eager to get in that thing.

You should have no problems driving in a G35 coupe. There's room for you to move the seat back.

Good luck with the buy!

I have no complaints about the coupe. Its a great car and I love the way it looks and the way it drives even better. It is a great ride and I enjoy driving it every time I get into it. You wont regret buying one.

I am also 6'3 @ 240 and I fit snug. The 06-07 is my favorite G because of the styling. If you get the sport package it will have the nice front clip. And ofcourse the 06-07 have the projectors and updated rear lights. I think the 06-07 are the nicest looking 1st Gen's. You will not be dissapointed!

Buy it, you'll love it. BTW - 2 months ago, I paid $32K even for a brand new (8 miles) 5AT w/prem pkg in Colorado.

if you wait till the 08 coupe(late july early august) comes out you should be able to get the 07 premium package coupe for less then 35K... just a thought.

what's with this might crap, just buy it and thank us all later. I'd wait a little too though honestly, but you could probably still get a good deal on the later models with the new coupe coming out soon.

I'm 6'2" and have no complaints. It's actually rather roomy. Its a great car. The trunk is a little small, but you always have a back seat for extra cargo. Good luck with the purchase.

The G35 is just one of those cars you have to love off the back. I mean it's really only a car that gets you from point A to point B, but it's sure fun getting there in this car. I have a black coupe and IMO, yea it's a bitch keeping her clean but when she shines, boy oh boy! Trunk space is so-so...what do you expect from a sports car. I guess the one common thing all G35 owners can complain about is the rattles. Do your research on edmunds.com and get pricing.

love it so far,
it sure is an upgrad from acura, although i really miss those high rev. engines...
