I need to replace a blown steering wheel airbag on my 2006 G35 coupe. Would the steering wheel airbags from older 2003-2005 G35 coupe work on a 2006? Also would an airbag from a 2003-2005 G35 sedan work?

I am 100% sure that driver airbag is the same from 05-06 coupe or sedan

Im pretty sure the 03-04 bag works also (only driver side) but color wont match exactly but I cant say Im 100% sure on that

I am not 100% sure on the 03/04 wheel but I believe it will also fit.

 

Ive fixed 4 salvage G35's over the past few yrs, 3 coupes & 1 sedan so ive mixed & matched parts on occassion depending on what was available at the time. but its been a while so im not 100% sure on the 03-04 bag

 

Are you not sure on the 03-04 sedan bag or both sedan and coupe airbags.

 

as far as sedan or coupe the driver wheel airbag is the same

I am about 95% sure that the 03-04 driver airbag will work on an 05-06

I did have a 05 airbag in an 04 coupe but this was before SRS module was changed so airbag light was still on so. this is why I wont say im 100% sure, just cuz it plugged in & fit doesnt mean it would have worked I later swapped out 05 bag for an 03 bag because it was the the correct color, therefore i never found out for sure. from my experience i think it would work no problem
