Hi,

I read the very long thread about the folks in pain because of the seat controls in earlier G coupes. It didn't seem like the 07 has this problem. I haven't gotten the chance for a long sitdown in the car yet. The 07 G coupe is in the top 3 for my buy (G coupe, TL-S, vette in that order, and manual of course). I'm wondering if anyone is having leg/back discomfort w/ the seat controls in the 07. I personally thought it pushes my legs together a bit much but I can get used to it. I'm gonna go for a long sitdown soon. I'd appreciate any opinions.

Thanks.

My problem is that my right leg is more or less sitting on the controls. My wife has no problems but for a 6'4" 235lbs man it pains your right leg a little.

I have this problem with my 06 coupe. I went to the local dealership last weekend and sat in an 07 coupe. Same seat, same problem.

The 08 coupe comes out in August. The seat controls in the 08 have been moved to the side of the seat.

Good luck.

the seats are not for heavy people..
I have heard that the seats are not wide
enough for some heavy people which
may cause back pain.. but i have an 06 coupe
and its fine..

Don't keep anything in your right side pockets, use the cruise control every chance you get so you can move your right leg around, and it is okay on a long haul. Around town, not in it long enough to bother.

my seat usually snugs me right into place. Out of all the cars i have driven i personally think that my cars seats are the most comfortable. Im 6'0ft. 160lbs. if that makes a difference..

I'm 6-2, 270 lbs. and I can tell you the guy that decided on these seats needs to be drawn and quartered, covered in oil and set afire, burned at the stake...you all get the point. Why put the seat controls under someone's butt? Dumb and dumber. I understand the racing type seat for that enthusiast flavor but this is part luxury car. Oh well, time to take a look at the G37.

That's exactly what I plan to do if I keep the car. Lease is up in July. Don't know what to do. G37 was the plan but not so sure now. We'll see.

maybe lose some weight or buy a Deville........ *** designers thinking smaller than bigger when designing. i'm 6'5" 205 and couldn't be more comfortable. America needs to lose weight!

I'm 5'8" and 235#, I'm pretty fat and the seat fits me comfortably...I have back problem due to an old injury, so i traded my Z in and got the GC, and it's been wonderful to my back...and oh, if you have back problems, don't get the 6speed m/t...I had to get an automatic when I went to the GC

...sorry, don't have a picture of my fat butt, but it should give you an idea of how fat i am...

i have the back problem, the lower part fits fine since i'm 5'9 @ 160lbs. it's the lack of lower lumbar support that kills me

im 5'8 about 150 ish lbs, seats are comfortable for me. only complaint is it so hard to get in and out of the GC cause of the lower side bolsters. (i dont want to wrinkle it as much so i try not to put any pressure on it
