this car is the most fun you will ever have. I don't think there is a better looking, and sounding car out there for its price. I can't go out without somebody complimenting my car. I seriously suggest purchasing the car if u can afford it. but u might want to wait to see if the awd will be available

btw, everybody is 100% right about the cheap paint. That is the biggest negative with this car.

^eleventy billion to what he said. MPG is real bad, makes me not want to drive the car as much with the high gas prices in the east coast. My wheels also start looking like flat black after a week. Must find less dusting pads for when I change them. And what's up with the dip stick? I work on lots of cars on the side and the G35 has the wierdest looking dip stick .

Also the clutch pedal is soooo high. What's up with that. I got so used to my Subaru WRX with an ACT clutch kit that only had like 2 inches of pedal play. The G35 clutch pedal is ridiculous.

Other than these few things, the car still brings me smiles everytime I drive it. I've only had it for a month now and I've gotten lots of compliments for it and chicks dig it

From what I've read so far, it's like this is Nissan's typical craftsmanship.
-Paint= sounds the same prob with maximas... Like they colored the cars in crayons. It might be better off.
-Rattles... nuff said
- Dip stick.... useless. I'm gonna take mine and go beat the lead designers.

-sunglasses holder is too small
-on auto mode the headlights stay on too long after u turn the car off(not really bad, just bothers me)
-road noise(but still 1000x better than my old civic hatch) just have music on and u wont hear it
-I wish the steering wheel could come down a little more
-seat belt rubs on my neck even being 6' tall...oh well just an excuse to get some nismo belt pads lol
-trunk is big just not tall enough

All theses are so minor though, they barely bother me, but everything else i love

after reading all of this, I started to notice everything everyone has pointed out. Now whenever I drive i listen for the rattle, even while the music is playing i try and listen for it. The sunglass holder IS small, i just figured out thats why my frame is crooked. I noticed that the blind spot really is huge. and the temp control does reset itself when you turn it off.

trust me, do not read this thread or else everyone elses little problems will bother you too!

1. Rattles
2. Turning Radius
3. The Way The Passenger Seat Is Automatic (at First I Liked It Because I Thought It Was Cool, But After You Have More Than 1 Passenger... They Gotta Wait And It Takes Forever To Move)

Other Than That... I Still Love The G

my biggest complaint is the dead pedal.... it's not big enough or sturdy enough and is angled a bit too sharply for me

..... i got spoiled at the BMW ///M driving school.... the M5's and Mcoupes have a big dead pedal that you can push on as hard as you can and it doesnt feel like you're going to break it

I pull on the infiniti badge with two fingers.

My gripes after 1500 miles.

-paint, already chipped. (i scraped the front bumper which i am going to replace under insurance and then get the clear bra, even tho it is a rip off and i shouldnt need it)

-mileage (i knew it was bad, what the hell - its a bad *** car and thats what i wanted)

-road noise and rough ride (but i wanted the 19inch wheels because the car looks so much better)

none of this stuff is a secret if you did a little research before you bought it. every car has drawbacks

My coupe would be perfect if it was all-wheel-drive.
