The seatbelt that seems hell bent on scratching at my neck.
The pinging on California 91.
The mouse fur headliner.

What do I like?

I've owned a few German cars. I like the feel of the plastics in those cars better. However, that being said, I like the simple nature of this car inside and it's fairly durable.

I feel that Nissan's designs from the late 80s early 90 were their best.
Maxima, Sentra SE-R, Skyline, Z32, 240sx/Silvia, Q45 etc.
The coupe was the first interesting design after a long drought.
I've never owned a car where I look back, every time I walk away from it.
Just a great looking car. A car where Nissan actually got the tail-lights right.

When Infiniti introduced the coupe, I remember the first time I sat in the car at the SJ auto show. I was pretty sold on the package.
Well I ended up with an 05 G35x a few years later. Great car in it's own right.
Not the coupe, not a 6-speed....

I was back at the dealer about year and 8 months later....Thankfully this car was used, albeit with only 400 miles.

1. Clutch/tranny - too tricky compare to other stick shift.
2. Seat belt - Major complaint for all of us
3. Trunk - It doesn't have the handle for you to close it. You'll either have to scratch the paint or get your finger tips dirty.
4. Remote - Hate the horn confirmation!! I was like "you gotta be kidding me!!!" when I first press it.
5. Remote (again!!) - Yes! I can remote my windows down now!! oh wait.. what about windows up??
6. Keyfob for 6MT coupe - Why can't it be more refine? why does it looks so cheap and outdated?! I thought it's a luxury division of Nissan?!
7. Closing the winows with key - Did you know you can close the windows by insert your key into the keyhole and turn left? yes, I do and I believe we all do, BUT did you know you can't close the moonroof when it's tilted. WTF?
8. Rattles, of course! how can I left that one out?

This is my 2nd month to own this car so I guess this is enough for now! otherwise, ya'll going to hate me! lol ... AFTERALL, I still love this car!! nothing is perfect! enjoy your ride!

the orange stitching only comes with G's with sports suspensions... but im sure someone clarified that for him already... my only real gripe is the damn window motors.. no big deal but my true gripe is how the new g37 is better in all aspects of performance and mileage but doenst look like the g35..

oil dipstick, seat belt is a bitch to reach, clear coat is a little vulnerable to light scratches.. oh yea, needs more low end torque!
but i love the car, makes me very happy.

There are a decent amount of things that I don't like about my car... but they don't even come close to cancelling out all the things that I adore about it:

Cons:
-Tire Wear & Road Noise
-Doors rattle when you shut them and occasionally when going over bumps
-Seatbelt not too comfortable on your neck area
-Transmission is notchy, which I don't mind for upshifting, but it makes for an unpleasant feeling with hard downshifts and rev matching(almost feels like you're about to break something to get it into gear despite perfect rev matches)
-Fuel economy could be better
-Could use more low end torque... I notice a particular lull in power when in second gear on the exit of a turn and below 2700 RPM's.
-Side View Mirrors and rear visibility in general are nearly as bad as you get in any car
-The engine undercover is terribly designed, in that it takes about an hour and 10 minutes to do a fricken oil change because you have to take off 20 or 21 screws in order to get it off so you can drain the oil(assuming you don't have a hydraulic lift at your disposal)
-The paint is utterly dispicable. I can't imagine any paint EVER being any weaker than ours.

I adore my G35 and drive it any chance I get to, but for some reason... when I drive my Tacoma, I get a better sense of balanced overall reliability and peace of mind, and I just feel like everything is right in that vehicle and easy/cheap to maintain(given what it is... a truck). The G35 although clearly my favorite of the 2 cars by a longshot, has some issues that they need rectify before it can be truly all-around stellar as an overall car, other than just sexy eye candy that sounds nice and is decently quick.

I hate that my stock system does not scroll the display when giving me information from my XM radio.

It'd be wonderful if they'd wire the radio through the navi display like on the Murano but for that little text lettering on the headunit the least they could do is program it so that the stuff would scroll on my XM radio!

I hate when I hear a great song on XM and have to guess the rest of the titile/artist.

When I drop something into the land of no return...
like chapstick that I'm afraid will someday melt and get all messy under the seats
or my makeup brush
and a lotion cap that I finally uncovered after 3.5 weeks

The only things I've gotten back is a piece of gum, that I certainly disposed after.

Ummmm, and I hate when passengers go in and out to the back seats. They just stomp over everything and don't care.

You carry a lot of beauty/hygene supplies with you! So far, we know of chapstick, makeup brushes, lotion and gum.

lol, well actually, the brushes were because I was running late for class, so the boyfriend had to drive and I had to get ready in the car that day, and the gum was his, he was giving me a piece one day and my hand slipped and dropped it. But I like my chapstick and lotion
