What do you NOT like about your g35 coupe?
I've always considered the G35 Coupe THE best looking car. It's the only car that looks good at all angles and views. I thought I was set on the TL, but it's not really the car that I want. The IS350, A4, and 2007 G35S were my other choices.
So before I make a more serious decision on which car to get, I'd like to see what isn't so good about the car.
Here's my list:
-tacky orange stiching
-power assist to let rear passengers in
-mileage
(There are usually one of these threads for each car forum, haven't been able to find one for this one)

The first thing I did was test drive all those vehicles with a knowledgeable friend. We drove the **** out of those cars to test every aspect (braking, acceleration, stability/floatiness, redlining the engine, cornering, and all the practicality stuff).
The reason why I chose the G35 coupe is because that was the car I've always loved, and it didn't take much from the other cars to ruin their image compared to the G. The BMW didn't have a coupe version and just came out with the 335. Those are minor, but ends up $10K more expensive than the G, which is why I passed. The Lexus is out since they don't have a manual. The Mitsubishi dealership was too cheap to let me test drive their Evo, and their interior looked very cheap. Acura TSX is FWD with little HP compared to the other cars, although I'd have to say it's a great car. I like the looks better than the TL. Finally, the A4 had a bit of turbo lag and is too expensive and not worth the money like its Bavarian brother.
After 6 months (that sexy look is still there), I've been very happy with my G35, but if you want to pick bones out of an egg, I'll say gas mileage can be better and trunk space can be bigger. I love everything else.

-Soft paint
-Blose stereo
-Headlights not bright enough
-Too much road noise resonates through the cabin, even with new tires
-Headlight switch design (auto should not be the first detent away from off)
-Engine thrashy at higher revs- always seems like it will throw a rod if you get on it too hard

I cannot stand that paint on the g35. I was thinking about taking it to a paint shop to have it it repainted in black again except with the paint used on like chevy 2500 super duty trucks.
As for the rattles, get a front strut bar. It will help with the rattles alot.
