I know it sounds stupid, but i figured when it gets fixed they need to reshape it anyway. I took a 6 inch piece of a 2x4 and put a sock over it, then wrapped it in a towel. I put it firmly against the inside of the bended metal and gave firm taps to the back of the wood with a mini-hammer. About 5 minutes later and adjusting the wood to different parts of the bend, I realized I had actually made really good progress. I was successfully able to bend it back out somewhat. I'll post pictures tomorrow. The door now shuts without any of the bent metal hitting the inside. Now it is just slightly warped metal with one HELL of a mess of chipped paint. Maybe this will lessen the money to reshape it? We'll see. If anyone knows of good shops in Jersey, or has any experience with this..let me know! Thanks for the responses
