Locked out of the trunk

So i put on the new trunk lid w/o attaching connection for the release button inside the cabin of the car. Now its locked and I can't get into the trunk. And of course I can't put the rear seat down because I would have to use the release handle from inside the trunk. You guys know of how i can get into the trunk?

There should be a release handle inbetween the lower and upper halves of the rear seat. Its a red cloth handle that you pull to the drivers side to unlock. Just dig around in the crack until you find it

that was your 2nd mistake after locking the trunk, I'll never ask a salesman a thing again after he told me the brakes were still brembos, just not painted orange anymore

I think they are banking on the customer not knowing. Its not just Infiniti sales guys though. When I was looking into the S2000, the sales guy kept saying, "in bad weather, the traction on this car is phenomenal." I looked at him in total confusion, then he said "its due to the all-wheel-drive"........hummm-kay!

Sweet, I'll have to look for that. I'm always opening the trunk just to lower the seat when I need to drive with my dog...

So much for the lock button in the glovebox. Totally useless if they give you another way to open the trunk. What a waste...
