i like the way you think... i think i will go with oz ultraleggera in gold or graphite they are light as hell (17.?? lbs for 18")

Cool! I love the way those things look, and they sound great too. The DSG tranny has gotten really good reviews and supposidly it is faster than the 6 speeds

Hopefully you have better luck with the reliability than most vw owners seem to have. Enjoy the ride!
