g35 price in future

I don't think it will drop too much. the 03-06 models will still people worth good money if they are well kept. I think what will have the biggest effect is how the tuning crowd takes to the new model. If they love it, then yeah the price will drop but still not to much.
Just look at what happened to honda civic hatchback. People("tuners") didn't take well to the new Hatchback, they found it better to rip out the motor from that and the RSX and put it into older hatchbackes like the 92-95 models. Now the price on those cars have gone up again. My civic has 160,000 miles, with working A/c and decent paint, OK rims and its the cheaper DX model 1.5 single cam and people are still willing to buy it at 5000 dollars. now tell me what other "ECONo" car is worth 5k at 160k miles.

FWIW, new, leftover, 06 coupes on dealer lots are selling for $7000 off sticker. New 07 coupes on dealer lots are selling for $4000 off sticker. So, the value of a new 06 coupe is low $30,000's and the value of a new 07 coupe is mid $30,000's.
Now, why people think their used 06 coupes are worth mid $30,000's is way beyond me when I could buy a new 07 coupe for the same price or a new 06 coupe for thousands less than these sellers want for their used 06 coupes. Likewise, why would I pay $29K or $30K for a two year old coupe with 20K to 30K miles when I could buy a new 06 coupe for a little more?
If you use these "values" for 06 and 07 coupes, you can guestimate what 05 and 04 coupes might be worth by what someone would be willing to pay less than the going rate of a 06 or 07 to get an older car.

market update: i just bought a 07 6mt loaded except rear active steering from an infiniti dealership 16k miles 27,600 that was about the average price for what i was lookin for if not less.....but they were VERY difficult to find, and i live 10 minutes outside nyc...i aint in the sticks...lol
i mean, i looked at the same vehicles in queens, ny for about 24k....but they had twice the miles and the whole place was just SUPER SHADY!!!

I lucked out and got my '03 6mt coupe for 11k a few weeks ago. Unreal price that i haven't seen again. I put it on craigslist for 16k as a test and have been getting mad calls/offers for it. It's got 103k miles on it, but i purchased a 1 year 18,000 mile warranty on it for 200 bucks. The dealership I bought it from is a small, fledgling place that looked like it was going out of business. The end of the year + the bad economy + living in Texas (i miss fairfield CA) = hella good prices to be found. I expect prices to creep back up when the econ gets a little better.

ive heard that g35's have a really good resell value. i wouldnt count on it dropping too much. besides, g37s and g35s look different.
some people have said that g35s look better than g37s.. since g37's have that rounded out look and the g35's have that body kit meaner look..
with that being said, some people will still retain that taste for the good ol g35

Since everyone on these forums seems to think our car are dirt cheap, did a search for one exactlt like mine. A 2K6 6mt. IP sith premium as well as sport package, fully loaded. Mostly found black cars with 30+k on them, not fully loaded, many not taken care of. It's mostly the less desirable ones out there that are cheap. I'm sure you paid a good $$ but, got what you were looking for. GL with a great car.

Incorrect, I've seen plenty of 06's for no more than 25k, with very good mileage.
If you paid 30k for an 06, I would have to say that was a dumb decision IMO.
I picked up my FX which is an 05' with 32k on it for 18,230 and everything came out to 20k... Go figure.
I'm currently looking for G.
