hey! hows it going you guys?

i am missing some bolts under the car (ones that are holding the "big" panel we have to take off/ remove in order to drain the engine oil and install filter) i think they came loose n just fell off or something... and also the black tabs... the ones that just "SNAP"s in the holes n hold panels together.. u can find them all over the car...

where can i get them? pep boys?

i already asked the dealer, they said "nope we dont have them" and "they come w/ the big piece, if u want them, you prob have to replace the whole thing"

yeah... right... -_-;;

They are just lazy!! They can look up the part numbers and order them for you. The bolts you can get at any local bolt shop. As for the little clips, those are a little harder to find.

I'm at work so I don't have access to my fsm but when I get home I can get you the numbers and you can just e-mail Grubbs. They'll work with you unlike most of the dealerships.

Did you have the dealer change the oil or something. If so, they probably lost them or left them off.

Here's a picture of the most commonly used push type fastener on the G35s. The actual size is smaller than the picture.

Nissan calls it a "Clip" - Part number 01553-09321 - $0.74 MSRP.

merlin: thinking about it... it could have been the body shop that repared my car from the last accident (front damage)...

Home depot and lowes also sell those clips but they aren't easily removable.

All you need is a small blade flat tip screwdriver to pop the center piece and the rest practically falls out.

your dealers suck. My dealer (Pinnacle Infiniti) not only replaced the three or four missing ones but also gave me spares!

ok, so dealership suckness is nothing new but for a 0.74 or a 1.29 bolt why does the dealer care?
