How do I fix the door?!?!

The handle on my driver side door (04 coupe) is loose so every time i close the door it moves. How do I dismantle the door to tighten this?

Thanks

if you are talking about the door pull, i would assume for an 04, that you need to pry the silver cover off very carefullly and there should be screws at the top and bottom.

Yep.. on the '03 and '04 Coupes you have to use a very very small flathead screwdriver and stick it in between the metalic cover on the handle and the rubber piece behind it... and slowly slide it along the length of the handle to pop it off. I'd recommend doing this on the underside of the handle(the less visible side) so that if you scratch or chip it at all it won't be apparent. There are 2 screws under there which secure the inner door to the door chassis. There are also a few other screws and pop rivets on the door jamb and one hidden inside the indent where the pull handle is(literally hidden behind a small 1/2" square panel that pops off to reveal the screw). The 2 screws behind the metal plate are the main ones that hold the door there though.. and are the most likely culprits. If you should happen to take the whole door assembly off, be very careful in doing so... as there are many electrical wires connecting it to the door, and they don't have the greatest amount of slack(could be easily broken if you pulled on it real hard while it was dangling).

Let me know if you have any more questions, I've taken mine off quite a few times.
