This has happened twice to me in the past 3 months. When i drop the clutch, the pedal stays to the floor and i have to pump the pedal to get it to pop back up. I get that lovely clutch smell for a while and thats it. Any ideas, i am taking it to the dealer on wednesday, but i cant tell them why it happens.

If your past the 12mos/12,000 mile mark they will not warranty it.

I've heard this happens a lot on the 350z

Easy, don't drop the clutch, its a safety mechanism on alot of new cars that prevents dropping the clutch. The engineers installed a clutch oriface in the line to prevent dropping the clutch in alot of situations. It prevents the dangerous situation of the clutch drop making the car serve out of control.
