Clear bra question

Has anyone clearbra'd their windshield? I just paid for a new windshield and I was wondering if this would protect my new one. Was wondering if this was an option.

I would not put it on the w/s.

They don't make it that wide so there would be a seam.

That does not sound like a good idea at all. Doesn't your insurance cover the windshield? If you have decent full coverage...your insurance company should replace the windshield for even the smallest crack.

With most insurance these days, the crack must be larger than a $1 bill or they just fill it.

you fill the chip as soon as you get it and it won't turn into a crack...AND your insurance company will pay for the chip repair with nothing outta your pocket...if you fill it early, then it would be barely noticeable...otherwise, once it starts spreading, you will have to replace the entire windshield...

I didn't consider the seam issue thanks for the heads up. I can afford to replace the windshield I just hate trusting someone to do a good job. I always worry about he possibility of leaks or wind noise. Luckily the guy that replaced mine did a great job but I was hoping to be able to protect it a little
from the road debris here in H-town.
