Black G here... i live in Phx, Arizona and believe me there is plenty of dust here.i'd say i wash my car every 3-5 days. doesnt seem like much of a chore to me, because it sooo sooo purty when it sparkles. I've been driving for 5 years, and i've had blk on blk w/ all 3 cars. black just has that "damnnnn" response to it.

i have seen most color Gs on the streets... and i'd say its an even split between ivory and black. that white glistens nicely.

all in all, if u got time to kill... black is the answer!

I have black and try hard to keep it sparkling clean.
This post makes me wonder if people who say "black is just so hard to keep clean" means that they don't wash their cars often?
I have had cars of all colors and have always tried to keep them dirt free, am I not normal?
Do DG guys/girls not wash their cars?

I've had black cars continuously since 1994 (my wife will have nothing but), and its no harder to keep clean than any other, if you wash regularly. The only color I have experienced to need less maintenance is white, but even then, you can see a big difference before and after washing.

Tough call, but I knew I'd be bummed with those first few chips standing out on the black.
