No longer Rare :-(
Re: No longer Rare :-(
you buy a car because you like it. when i bought mine, i really liked all about it. still do. but, something in decision making process was the fact that bmw's are a dime a dozen. that's both good and bad. good in that it is a good car and therefore popular. bad if you want to stand out.

I definitely see an increase in the number of coupes on the road no doubt. But that increase is still not a very high number because by increase I m going from seeing zero to seeing tops 4-5 on a good day. On average maybe 1 or 2 a day. But the car definitely is getting more popular. However, I do agree that alot of people getting base models no aero, or anything...LoL Blitz and the Infiniti lot had me dying LoL

Honestly, I dont pay attention to how often I see a coupe.. I pay more attention to the exhaust note of the car that passes by. With no stereo in my car, I can honestly say I hear the VQ35 motor buzzing around town VERY OFTEN. Whether its a FX35, G35 Sedan or Coupe, or a 350Z.. these cars are definately becomming quite popular.

Well, when you live over in Dublin so close to the Infiniti dealer.... you probably catch a lot of people on test drives!

Not sure where you live, but I live in Denver/Boulder CO and i have seen one other coupe and one sedan. I went to visit my friends in San Fran though and holy crap, the three days I was there i must have seen at least 3 coupes and several sedans.
Re: No longer Rare :-(
The 3.5L is in a lot more than the cars you mentioned haha. I don't think you can hear the 3.5L Altima's buzzing around, or the Maxima's or the Quest's .. you get my picture. The 3.5L is in like every damn Nissan model now. Not tuned the same thank God. =)

Re: No longer Rare :-(
I still hardly see any G coupes around. In my 2 months+ of ownership, I've maybe seen 3-4 coupes outside of the dealership. Then again, I live in Minnesota so RWD coupes aren't exactly a hot item. (that would be AWD Audis & SUVs)

lol ya especially when you work in Hacienda Park. Being in the middle of the CA Frisco Bay area I see a lot now. 350z still out number the g35coupes though.
I saw a grandma in a 350z that had american flag flames all over it. Then this 5AT coupe pulled up on her and tried to race. No big story, but it was pretty amusing to watch from across the intersection.
