No longer Rare :-(

I don't know how it is for you guys, but I'm seeing a lot of Coupes, about 10-15 today, and I don't even count when I see the "pregnant" sedan.

They are becoming all to common if you ask me....
How about you guys?

"Yes you can say it...... I'm a post *****!" :-)

You must live on an infiniti lot. I am still lucky to see one in a day.

Re: No longer Rare :-(

I have my coupe for over a year. First couple of months of owership, didn't see a single coupe on the road. Now, I see them daily. It will only grow in number .

Re: No longer Rare :-(

I've actually seen quite a few around Baton Rouge...but most are 5ATs (with or without the sport wheel and tire package)...and haven't seen any with the aero package.

I like OB, aero and Brembos...lol...if it's any solace to anyone, I've been working in the Dallas metroplex the last half of last year, and never really saw a lot up there.

Re: No longer Rare :-(

where I live its a 60-90 minute drive to an Infiniti dealer. I have yet to see a G35 C or S except when in northern Jersey. There are a couple of FX's around and some older G's but I guess I'm lucky in that respect with the dealership being so far. There were way to many 3 series, C classes, RSX's and IS's for me to even really seriously consider them.

Re: No longer Rare :-(

how do you know if a sedan is 5at or 6mt, just by looking at it or passing by it on the road?

Re: No longer Rare :-(

i don't know about the sedan, but for the coupe, look at the wheels. 6 spoke is definitely not a 6mt, and if its 7, check for the brembros. OR just look inside the car if its parked. : )

Re: No longer Rare :-(

It's the price of having a good thing gent's. A car that Nissan/Infiniti wanted the average joe to be able to afford. I must say I have seen the same thing here in So Cal. and I look at it as a compliment and an extended family. If I was trying to buy exlusivity I think the cost would be much higher in this day and age. I think it'll just push people to make there G's look more original with after market mod's and that's great by me. Here's to seeing you gent's and ladies on the road! Same thing here. I always see more sedans than coupes. What once used to be seeing 1 or 2 coupes a week, I see 1 or 2 coupes a day. The sedans seem to be more popular in my area, but the coupes are slowly catching up.

Re: No longer Rare :-(

I see at least 4-5 G35 coupes every day... Silver, black and DG seem to be the prevalent colors as well. NYC/LI area. They are going to be as common as an accord eventually. I actually think there are more G35Cs than a 350z... testament to which car is more popular, but doesn't do much for rarity.

Re: No longer Rare :-(

Coupes are getting really popular. I think by the time I got mine, it was already pretty popular in this area, however, 6MT's aren't. And black especially isn't. I've yet to see a black 6MT in my area besides mine. =)
