Accident

I was rear ended about a month ago in my G35 Pearl Coupe, and took it to a shop Infinity uses here in So Cal. I am so livid with the service i've received. The only reason I took it to this shop is because Infinity uses them regularly. They've painted my car 4 times and still can't get the color correct. They are now blending the bumper into the corner panels. I've been paying on my car for 2 months now and haven't been able to enjoy it. The rental of course they provided is not comparble to my car. IT SUCKS!!! Anyone else have an accident in their car and problems with the color matching?

Re: Accident

White Pearl is one of the most DIFFICULT colours to match. Sorry to hear about your troubles but they may never get it right. Hopefully when it strats drying and curing in the sun it will blend in better.
Good luck.

Re: Accident

My baby has been at the bodyshop for about a month, coz one of the part they need to fix the suspension is back ordered. they won't have the part in for another week or so. It sucks that Infiniti can't even provide parts for the car.
After they get the part..it will take them another 2 weeks to finish the body work.. : (

Re: Accident

Bumpers are hard to match with the sheetmetal on any car. My bumpers didn't match stock, and actually match alot better after being repainted/replaced.

I went to a dealership and noticed that most G's look like the bumpers are a slightly different color.

Re: Accident

I believe Infinity makes speakers. Infiniti manufactures cars.

Sorry to hear about your problems with getting the paint right. Small variations in paint lots can make a big difference, especially with light colors.

Re: Accident

For everyone in LA area -- I had a small body repair to bumper and rear quarter panel done by Golden Hammer in west LA. Cannot recommend highly enogh. They do lots of top end cars. Terrific shop.
