6mt And Automatic Owners Look Here!!!!

Ok so i finally found a G that i can afford and can get but the only thing wrong with the car is its a automatic. Now it really doesnt matter to me if its a automatic or stick shift. What do you guys think about tha automatic compared to tha 6mt. I heard that the 6mt is alot of fun to drive but if i cant find the right 1 then F*Ck it..The 1 i saw is a dg 03 with 50k miles and its $24k. I want to be able to have the most fun as possible with my car. Do you guys think i will have as much fun with a at?? I need as much input as possible from you guys...yall dont understand howmuch i want this car please help me...

thats a tough place to be in man, i dunno what i would do if i were you..6mt is a lot of fun. hmm I think what we really need here is for the AT guys to tune in and let us know how they feel about their AT cars and if they would get an AT g35 again

i guess its all about where you live.. if you feel that you won't be shifting every few seconds or so like the LA area.. go for the 6mt if you can.. i'd still take a AT if it was vs another car at same price imo.. a g's a g haha

I love man. transmissions... but I cant see myself doing it every single day. I, too, came across an unbeatable deal on a 5AT. I love it! I manually shift it every day... how ironic!

I love my 6MT and would only change if I had to drive in major bumper to bumper all the time.

like they said it depends on the situation that you're in(where you live). In my case it was nearly impossible to find a 6mt G around here (Columbia,SC). I decided to take my time and wait a couple of months and found a great deal. I got a 6mt with 25000 that looks brand new for 24k about a month ago. I'm a new G owner but so far I love the manual transmission. Whatever makes u happier...my advice is just to take your time you will find the right G

i have a 6mt and live in LA. traffic is irritating, but if i had to do it over again, i would still get a 6mt, even in LA.

I have the 5AT and live in Chicago. Its pretty busy here so, I winded up getting the auto. I drive it like its a MT though..the whole tip-tronic ordeal. I kinda wish I bought the 6MT, but then I know for a fact I would be getting annoyed after a while shifting when there's heavy traffic. Anyways, I still enjoy the ride! It still drives great! Its all up to you if want the 5AT or 6MT.

Either one, Personal preference, I wouldn't trade my AT in. I can't wait to take it to the track... with a valve body upgrade im going to get a great time.

I think you will hate the stock suspension of a 6MT. Stiff suspension causes a lot of road noise. Biggest downfall of the 6MT in my opinion.

if you search for 6mt or auto, you will see a lot of guys with auto saying they wish they had bought a 6mt. my personal opinion is that if you buy a 2dr coupe, a manual is probably the way to go--more fun to drive, more driver control, and sport coupes keep their resale value with a manual transmission. i would say the same things also apply for sedans except that the resale for 4dr cars are usually better with an auto.

also, that navi seems screwed up. it should take about 5 to 10 seconds at the most to load.
