For the past couple of months my alarm has been going off and chirping randomly throughout the day.Has anyone experienced the same thing? Is there a solution?

wow...is all i have to say...I thought I was going crazy....I did have the same problem....I actually thought someone was playing games with me...my problem was different...I was cleaning my windshield with the hood up and accidently closed it on the wiper and broke it off, but it actually bent my hinges on the hood, and wouldn't close totally and looked like I didnt' push the hood down to latch it...this is when the alarm started doing crazy stuff like you said...when I fixed the hinges and got the hood to close totally, the problem stopped...hopefully this helps you a little..maybe something is not totally closing correctly sending false alarms that somebody is trying to get in...I never knew somebody would have the same weird problem as me...I actually thought somebody picked up on my remote signal and was setting the alarm off!!!!!!!!!!!

Typically random false alarms are caused by the underhood pin switch. Try disconnecting it and see if the problem goes away. There are only 4 switches that will make the alarm go off - hood, two doors, and trunk.

Good advice Kevin, I'd start with the hood switch. Make sure they're all
functioning properly...alarms can be a PITA!
