Window Rattle DIY

I'm trying to find a window rattle DIY i read some time ago that told me exactly what screws to tighten when having window rattle.

Symptom:
when the window is rolled all the way up and completely closed i hear a ratlle in thw window when going over rough road.

when the window is half open no rattle is heard.

when the window is fully closed and door is opened the window does not roll down the full amount.

Please Help thanks.

PS i've been searching all morning for the thread i read concerning this. i just can't find it now that i need it. ain't that a *itch?

I dunno if we have the same problem, but my driver's side window makes a slight 'creaking' noise like plastic rubbing on plastic when it's UP all the way. If I lower it just a tiny tiny bit, the noise stops. I've had the freaking door panel off 4 times and fooled with the trim and weather stripping and can't find the answer. It sounds like it's coming from the window where it meets the trim but noises can be transmitted through the glass and be coming from somewhere else entirely.

The average person wouldn't hear it but I do! And I'm the only one who drives the car so it matters to me. I have tried pushing outward on the window when it makes the noise but that doesn't stop it, I have also pushed, punched, and pounded on the door panel where it contacts the window and that has no effect ( but it makes my hands sore ) =:0

Otherwise the car is basically rattle free at 15k I guess I should consider myself lucky in that regard.

Hope you find that DIY it may help me too and others.

Just to be sure, do we have a 60k warranty?
