click/pop sound from rear when put in drive

as my sig states i have an 05 5at cpe whenever i start the car depress the brake and put the car into drive i get a click or pop coming from the rear wheels. Also at times while the car is running i can also get the clickor pop to occur if i move from a dead stop at times. Finally I cal also get it when i drop it into reverse from a dead stop when i first start the car with brake engaged. Is this normal its hot so with the windows down its very noticable, again a single tick/pop, but with windows up i don't notice it/its not audible. Any info/sugestions would be much appreciated thanks all

No i think you should be ok. I had the same prob with my G. I believe all they do is replace the bolts and nuts on the rear axle and the problem is solved.

The notorious axle click. Does every 05 have this problem? Will they fix it if I am lowered or will they try some BS that it is clicking because its lowered?
Has anybody had a problem getting it fixed?

Had mine fixed under warranty two summers ago. The sound started again a few weeks ago. Anyone else have the problem come back?

I'm a 2005 with 18k miles and no axle click, knock on (wood/veneer/laminate, whatever!) but I do have an annoying window rattle.

Too bad the nearest Infiniti dealer is 176 miles away.
