on my way home today i got a [censored] TICKET! Wow.. so mad.. so im on my way home from school and im driving on the Turnpike north. So im going like 80 and this car starts catchign up to me.. And i get this weird feelign that its a cop.. but i look at it and its an Old Light Barf Green Intrepid i think.. not sure what car but it wasnt usual crown victoria or nething... So im going and im accelerating slowly cause i have this problem to do that.. but then i saw my speed and went on the brakes.. but low and behold i look behind me and [censored] flashing lights.. [censored]!!!!.. damn flashings in his head lights and blue ones right where his rear view mirror was so u couldnt tell that they were there.. omg i was pissed.. pulled over for doing 84 in a 65.. this is my first ticket.. and its my 4th month wit the G. its a $146. i begged him for a warning or nething.. and hes like at this speed i cant give you that.. so now im left up to the usual.. fight it in court, pay it, or go to traffic school.. ne way i cant get around it or nething.. what does everyone suggest? i looked at the citation cant find ne fualts.. cept he might be wrong on the time of the citation.. by 5-10 minutes or so.. other than that i cant find nething.. so yea.. [censored] [censored] [censored] COUNT [censored] ! i always look for cops and slow down when i see crown victorias and [censored] .. but this was a [censored] old barf green car.. wat a [censored].. wow.. i hate this.. neway yea i needed to vent

OK, here's what you do. Be a man and accept it. You were driving over 80 mph. You made a decision to drive that speed and this is a consequence. It a simple formula: action = reaction. If you can't handle the consequenses of your actions don't do it. I am not trying to be a hater, but dude this is how life works. Regardless of whether or not you agree with the laws we all have to live with them. I'm sure I'll get flamed by some for this, but really as a society I can't stand people who don't own up to their behavior. BTW I have 9 tickets, and yes it always pissed me off, but I know I am taking that chance when I speed.

 

I got one the year before last for 84 in a 65. I knew he had me dead to rights, because I was the only one on the road, and I was movin' fast. I saw him going the other way, he looked over at me and as soon as I saw him turn around, I knew I was had. I just pulled over, tried to be nice and took the ticket - he said they don't give warnings if it's more than 15mph over the limit. He said 1 more MPH and I'd have been sittin' in jail for a while..

Nothin' you can do - pay the fine and keep your nose clean. I don't speed like that any more, even though the G is more than capable..

Fight for what? i cant' believe you are saying your going to fight for it, i am telling you, the judge will laugh at your face and then dismiss you immediately

ok well yeah there is not much u can do and if u were looking for simpathy i dont think peope u give u much but next time take it easy on the languae and u might get a better responce. I dont think u have much u can do as far as fighting it. I was under the impression though that cop cars had to be 2 tone. if it was a solid green car then thats no 2 tone thus he didnt have the right to pull u over. it has to be a marked car i belive. but i am really not sure i would do some research and then decide if u have a case. good luck and slow it on down

EVERY time I drive home from school, as soon as I'm a couple of miles in on the tpke, there is a cop by me, EVERY freaking time...and telling whether they are or not is a flipping chore at night. The trick is, look for their radar/lidar equipment hanging by their rearview.

The last cop which I had the sense not to pass was in a modded Benz. The cops use whatever vehicles they seize, they don't necessarily have to be crown vics. Another tip for next time, never get ahead of their car, its relatively hard to be able to see your front license plate when they are in front of you, and impossible to "follow your speed"; wait for someone else to pass them and to see if they take that bait.

btw, aren't fines and points doubled for speeding in a 65?

 

Sorry to hear bro...but ya know what...? get used to it...just got my 3rd a couple weeks ago...there is good and bad about a car that attracts this much attention...this being the bad. And like everyone has said...you gotta take responsibilities for your actions...but I know you're just venting. Good luck.
