Clutch/neutral on down hill?

Actualy, this fuel cut-off occurs until the engine RPM fall to a set value at which point fuel is restored for idle condition
<hr></blockquote>
Nope. The fuel cut has nothing to do with reaching an idle condition.
Where do you guys get your information?
Is it so hard to believe that the engine can go without fuel during deceleration/coasting?
For all you non-believers-- do some research and learn something before making false statements.

Re: Clutch/neutral on down hill?
ok...i think hitman is pretty on it.
you use very little fuel while at idle (so coasting in neutral is still consuming fuel albeit small amounts)
and under full deceleration (in gear) you are using zero fuel because the injectors are off.
