Will the Vortech supercharger fit onto the G35?

Re: Vortech

As far as I have seen, Vortech does have an application for the G35, so I'm gonna say yes!

Re: Vortech

As far as I know there are currently two of us with the Vortech kit on a G35. I have one on my 6MT Sedan and Dollar99 has one on his 6MT Coupe. I don't think it would fit the 5AT sedan, but I don't know for sure.

I understand that a G35-specific version of the kit with soon be available but in the meantime the 350Z kit can be used with some customizations. Nameley, changes must be made to the mounting of the intake filter, the intercooler piping and (most importantly) to the programming of the timing box that comes with the kit. If your tuner does not have the SplitSecond tuning software, DO NOT attempt the install until the G35-specific kit is available.

Re: Vortech

There is no official G35 kit out yet. A few people (zimbo) had a 350 kit retrofitted to his g35 sedan... As of now, my car is and has been at vortech for the past 2 weeks getting fitted with the supercharger, and they will release an official kit based off of my install.

Re: Vortech

I'm putting out 359rwhp and 305 pounds of torque with my Vortech setup. If you live near Charlotte NC, there is a great shop that knows how to do the conversion and tune the piggy back ECU to work with the G.

Re: Vortech

The wire conversion and air filter won't need to be done after they're done with my car.. should be a few more days...

Re: Vortech

The place in Charlotte is Carolina Performance Racing (www.cprace.com).

BTW, here's my most recent dyno (with Stillen exhaust)... Jimmy's numbers are a little better than this.
