Question HELP !!!!! Trunk removal advice......

To those who have done this HELP!!!! I planning to do a trunk swap. IM going from spoiler to spoiler-less. How did you all remove your trunks. Did you unbolt it from the dampers or did you unbolt it from the car frame and include the damper in the swap. and how did you disconnect the wires. ALso how would the guy getting my trunk/spoiler rewire them back to his car. Any help/advice is greatly appreciated.

there are 4 torx screws that are made of aluminum (2 on each side). Be prepared to drill them out bc they are REALLY SOFT and you will probably strip them. before you unscew them, there is a connector under the trunk liner for the 3rd brake lamp, its on the right rear of the rear trunk panel; disconnect. have two or 3 people including urself to hold the trunk and unscrew.

it takes 5 mins max to take it off. it really easy.

to unbolt the dampeners, take a flat head and wedge it bwtween the metal clip (once you see it, you'll know what im talking about). keep flat head in there, and pull the dampener out.
