I just noticed today a difference in some of the g35 tailights. I have a friend with a black g35 that has i guess a rectangular shaped blinker in his tailight while today i saw a silver g35 with a circular blinker. I had never noticed this before. I decided to look in the picture gallery here and i noticed the same thing. Is this a difference in model year or is it just with different colors comes a variation of blinker shapes? Its a weird observation i know but i had never noticed it before today and personally i like the rectangular shaped blinker.

 

the rectangular is the 06 and up models the circle ones are the 05's and lower. also on the 05's the two cirlces stick out kinda like bubbles

 

It's a year thing. Pretty sure prior to '06 they are circles and after are squares.

03-05 Tailights are different than 06 Taillights.

The only differences in the 06 compared to prior tail lights are:

-Rectangular reverse lights.

-"Obscured" LED (The ones in between the stop LED's and reverse lights)

I personally think the 06 Headlights, 06 Tailights, and 06 Sport bumper make the 06 G35 6MT/Sport look much better, even though the differences are minor.

Also note that the interior of the 05-07 G35 Coupes are a step above the lack-luster interior of the 03-04 Coupes.
