Re: Coupe exhaust tip not even.
Its a farely simple fix.
On the exhaust you have three mounting supports. One on either side of the muffler and one that extends inward from the muffler on the passenger side. These supports are what hold the muffler in position up on to the rubber mounts that are suspended from the vehicles chassis.
By bending these supports up, down, or front to back, you can align the system to your liking.

As I stated, depending on how want your tips, if you move the brackets up or down, the tips will move up or down, but if you move them front or back, you will puch the tips in or out....

Re: Coupe exhaust tip not even.
I noticed the same thing on mine a while back while washing her. I noticed my sponge could fit in between the tip and the bumper on one side, but it was too tight on the other side. I ended up standing back and taking a look, and sure enough, one tip was slightly lower then the other. In all honesty, I would probably never noticed it just by looking at it. That being the case, I really haven't worried too much about it. Maybe I'll try and straighten it out some day.

Re: Coupe exhaust tip not even.
Firestarter,
I have noticed this about 2 or 3 weeks after buying my car. I complained 3 times to the dealer and they did not want to do anything to it. The first time I brought it in, one of the guys comes out with a ruler and trys to measure it and is trying to tell me that it maybe my eyes...I was pissed.....and then they said they couldn't do anything to it. Then the second time, I get another service rep so I decide to let him know and he said he'll have the guys look at it and yet, no luck bending it back or a solution. The third time I had to point out to the rep that none of the new coupes on the lot have this issue....but yet, he insisted that they come like this at the factory and they are aware of this issue, and can't do nothing about it. BS?? Opinions, suggestions? I mean I could take it to a muffler shop but I really don't want to pay out of my pocket just to fix something that shouldn't be out of place in the first place.
