The passenger side door will not open from the outside nor will it lock or unlock with the fob or the unlock/lock button in the car!!! It started last night I pushed unlock on the fob twice to unlock the pass door and it would not work so I pushed it 4 more time still nothing then I pushed unlock in the car nothing then finally it unlocked the door on the 7th try then when I went home later that night I pushed lock and it locked both doors and now today it dead!!!

Sorry for the run-on sentence!!!

same thing happened to me a couple months back.. they didnt know if it was the relay or the motor so the dealer replaced the whole door lock assembly

take your door panel off and check the plug, make sure its tight. then check the cable rig to see if it has come loose from the lock

 

sounds like the door lock actuator, probably under warranty unless UR over the milage limit. I have replaced one in my Maxima out of warranty, $105. for the part, and according to the manual, same part on both cars. AND a real PIA to replace. Good luck

 

its under warranty. i just got my driver door actuator fixed this past week. parts were backordered so i had to wait 3-4 days for it. didnt have to pay anything at least. just take it to your dealer and you should be good.
