people always think they are aftermarket but i never get comments on the color.

Well its really not so common, when you think about it.

 

Its weird, when I had the stock 18s on no one noticed the brakes, once I put on the Volks everyone is like, where you buy those brakes, or wow those brakes are sick. These are people I see on almost a daily basis!!!

 

the volks make it stand out =)

 

i've gotten questions about how much they were installed a few times i just tell them it came with the car like that stock.

 

Why worry about someone who obviously knows little about cars? If they can't recognize that the calipers are larger than average or see the Brembo name they don't know much about cars. They're also colour blind since the calipers are gold not orange.
I've had lots of comments on mine but always saying nice brakes or asking if they factory brakes or aftermarket.

 

LMAO...I haven't gotten that yet but a lot of people swear up and down that the Brembos are aftermarket.

 

Only one person so far said she doesn't like the gold brakes and she's a girl. Other than that I just catch every other person looking at them on the road as I pass them or they pass me, and that makes me feel like I'm cooler than them.

 

dammit. i wish they never took away the brembos!

 

The only thing people have asked me if my brembos were stock, nothing about the color haha.
