Ive only had my G a year & ive heard it
where did u or why did u paint them gold at least 5 times already
& how much did they cost to paint gold? heard that twice
maybe its more noticeable because i have 5 spoke 20"rims & the brembos really stand out & also reflect in the chrome of the rims


quick brembo story....
one time at a carwash a chick asked me why my brakes were gold & so big & I tried to "educate" in lemans terms & just say the car is very fast & came factory with racing grade brakes
& she replied her car should have came with them because its faster than the G
my eyebrow went up & I said wat car do u drive here reply was BMW I go, ok which one? expecting 335 M3 M5 or maybe 650, 550 even a 545
then she points to a 04-05 4dr 323ix!!!!
I just chuckled & said who told u thats faster she said the BMW dealer & her brother (who is a mechanic!!!) ...I said they lied to you sweetheart & she said the 323 is the fastest of all BMW's!!!!

...I quietly walked away ...no sense in argueing with someone so ignorant

Only one of my guy friends asked hhy the hell i got orange brakes. He's not a car guy, but I still had to shake my head.

Once while just cruising someone in the next lane said I had something stuck in my wheels. When we got to a stop light, she said, nevermind when she realized it was the brakes.
